THE MCC SHOOT 2007
Developers and agents are used to hitting targets in business and it’s just as well they do not depend on their living for hitting them with a bow and arrow or a gun. Much effort was expended to become Robin Hood and Maid Marion or Top Gun at our Annual Clay Shoot at Lower Lodge Shooting Grounds at Billingshurst in April. On a sunny spring day the great and the good assembled to exchange gossip, who’s buying what, who’s buying or merging with who, who’s moved to who etc., etc., etc. Clearly everyone had a great time and thank goodness no old scores were settled with gun or arrow!
Around 50 men and women tried their best and some were surprised at just how many targets they hit.
Following a good meal and copious bottles of wine, it was my pleasure to thank all for coming and award the various prizes – there can only be one Top Gun and lovely Charlotte Brown from Miller Homes led the way for the ladies and svelte-like Terry Massingham won Top Man and Overall Winner. Peter Taylor of Persimmon Homes won first prize for staying the course the longest and won shares in Pinot Grigio – bless him! It was great to see so many of you and may I on behalf of the MCC Team thank you for your continued support. We look forward to working with you over the next year and we hope to welcome you back to take a “pot shot” next year.
